Best apps to find an apartment in Barcelona (2026)

We build Prio, so we have a stake here. Every other row comes from the tool's own pages, linked and read on 30 October 2026; prices and features change, so check them before you subscribe.

Short answer, October 2026

There is no single best app. Use Idealista's own saved-search notifications as the base, since Idealista is where most Barcelona listings are, and add the alert tool whose limit you can live with: Fotocasa or Habitaclia notifications for those sites only, an aggregator such as CasaRadar or RentAlert if you want several sites in one feed (RentAlert reads them every hour), or Prio if you want Idealista and Badi in Telegram usually 2 minutes ahead of Idealista push notifications. Frequently asked questions

What is the best app to find an apartment in Barcelona?

No single app wins on every point. The Idealista and Fotocasa apps are free and notify you about saved searches on their own sites; Habitaclia emails alerts for its own listings; CasaRadar and RentAlert aggregate several sources; Prio sends Idealista and Badi listings to Telegram, usually 2 minutes ahead of Idealista push notifications.

Are the portals' own alerts enough?

For a relaxed search, yes. In a busy market such as Barcelona, where the average rental ad gets 54 contacts (Idealista 2024 annual report, via Barcelona Secreta), an alert that reaches you sooner can matter.

How much do these tools cost?

The Idealista and Fotocasa apps are free. Prio has a 7-day free trial, then EUR 4.95, 19.90 or 49.90 a month depending on the plan. RentAlert states EUR 10 a month. CasaRadar has a free plan and a PRO plan at EUR 19.95 a month billed EUR 39.90 every 2 months. Habitaclia does not state a price on the alerts page we read.

Do alerts replace checking a listing before paying?

No. Whatever tool you use, check each listing before you pay: the free scam checker compares an Idealista listing with real neighborhood prices.
